Registered Nurse (RN) – Addiction Recovery Center

Location:

240 North Miller Road, Mansfield, TX 76063

Hours:

Full time, Days, 6:45 a.m. – 7:15 p.m. (rotating weekends and holidays)

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas, practicing under the Texas Nurse Practice Act
• Minimum of one year of clinical nursing experience or completion of an RN residency program
• One-year Experience as a clinical nurse or completion of an RN residency program required
• One year of behavioral health experience strongly preferred
• BSN preferred;
  Nursing Diploma or Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program required
• BCPL (BCLS) required before hire
• BCPMHN required upon hire
• ACPI certification within 30 days of hire
• Demonstrated ability to serve as a role model, collaborate inter‑disciplinarily, and coordinate quality patient care

• Deliver care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process
• Assess the patient
• Plan for the care of the patient
• Implement interventions as appropriate
• Evaluate the effectiveness of interventions
• Incorporate age‑specific safety and infection control measures into patient care.
• Initiate action to meet patient and/or significant others’ needs for information
• Maintain continuity of patient care across shift changes, inter‑hospital transfers, and while expediting out of hospital transfers
