Pay Range
- Base hourly rate: $60.00 / hr – $80.00 / hr
- Salary (full‑time): $100,000 – $125,000 per year (based on 139 hrs/month)
- PRN hourly rate: $60.00 – $75.00 / hr

Community Med was established in 2014. We operate 14 urgent care clinics in the DFW metroplex and plan to open 2–3 more by end‑2023. The organization offers a supportive management team, flexible scheduling, training opportunities, and clear advancement pathways.
Position Summary
As a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, you will operate under the supervision and delegation of the CMO, supervising physicians, and app managers. The role requires patient care in urgent care settings, with a minimum of 12 shifts per month for full‑time or 2 shifts per month for PRN.
Shifts and Hours
- Full‑time:
Minimum 12 shifts/month, including 2 Saturdays and 2 Sundays. 2‑hour on‑call shift per month (6 am–3 pm). - Hours:
Monday‑Saturday 7:30 am – 8:00 pm;
Sunday 11:30 am – 8:00 pm. - PRN:
Hourly wage, paid bi‑weekly. No benefits, but 401(k) eligibility after 6 months. - Schedules set 60 + days in advance; performance evaluations within first 60–90 days.
- Closed on major holidays:
New Year’s, Easter, 4th of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year as a provider.
- Urgent care experience highly preferred.
- Ability to see 25–40 patients per day.
- Active Texas license to practice as NP or PA.
- Current BLS, DEA, and all state‑required certifications.
- Signed Delegation Protocol and Collaborative Practice Act Agreement.

Responsibilities
- Arrive on time (7:30 am Mon‑Sat, 11:30 am Sun).
- Contact Director for emergencies.
- Room and triage patients; record vital signs.
- Maintain supplies and order inventory.
- Obtain history, perform exams, order tests.
- Interpret laboratory and diagnostic studies.
- Administer medications.
- Monitor therapeutic interventions.
- Administer immunizations as appropriate.
- Provide counseling, education, and discharge planning.
- Prescribe treatments and arrange follow‑ups.
- Maintain compliance with supervising physician and state guidelines.
