Electrical Quality Assurance & Quality Control (QA& QC)

The QA/QC (Quality Assurance / Quality Control) Specialist is responsible for ensuring all electrical installations and activities meet Accelevation’s quality standards, project specifications, and applicable codes. This role maintains oversight of field workmanship, documentation, and testing to verify that all electrical systems are installed safely, accurately, and in compliance with design and regulatory requirements. This is an onsite role—we believe the best ideas happen when we’re together.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform inspections on electrical installations for compliance with drawings, specifications, and NEC standards.
  • Maintain up-to-date QA/QC logs, test results, and turnover documentation.
  • Identify and document non-conformances; assist field teams in corrective actions.
  • Support pre-functional and commissioning activities, including continuity and insulation testing.
  • Verify labeling, torque values, and terminations meet project and manufacturer requirements.
  • Coordinate with Energy Marshalls, project engineers, and client QA representatives to ensure quality alignment.
  • Participate in safety and quality audits, and contribute to lessons-learned reviews.
  • Utilize job specific programs (Autodesk, Procore, Etc.) to complete checklists, upload documentation, test reports, etc.
Minimum Qualifications
  • TDLR Journeyman or Master Electrician License (Required)
  • Procore, Autodesk, or similar program experience is a must
  • NECA QA/QC training credentials is a huge plus
  • Strong knowledge of electrical drawings, one-lines, and submittals
  • SharePoint and Microsoft program knowledge
  • Must possess a high school diploma or GED

Physical Demands and Work Environment
  • Work is performed in a data center environment, which may include exposure to electrical hazards, noise, and varying temperatures.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as required by the needs of the project demands.
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, crawl, climb, kneel, balance, push, pull, and reach overhead.
  • Lift arms above shoulder level.
  • Lift minimum of 50 pounds.
  • Climb ladders (all types of step ladders, frame ladders, and all size extension ladders). Be able to carry and relocate up to 12 ft. step ladders by oneself. Be able to go up and down stairways daily. Perform work at various heights, up to 90 feet from ladders, scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks, or other safe work areas.
  • Work in restricted areas: switch gear rooms, manholes, vaults, trenches, utility tunnels, crawl spaces, and attics or other spaces required to perform electrical work.
  • Be able to wear all (PPE) Personal Protection Equipment.
  • Complete overhead work for a full day assignment.
