Maintenance Mechanic

Location:

Midlothian, TX

Schedule:

12-hour day shift; 6:00 am - 6:00 pm

Pay: $35.00 – $45.00 per hour

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production and facility equipment in an industrial environment. This position is responsible for keeping equipment operating safely and efficiently while responding to preventive and corrective maintenance needs.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production and facility equipment.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to reduce equipment downtime.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair PLC-controlled equipment and AC/DC drives.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain 480V three-phase motors and electrical systems.
  • Perform equipment setup, adjustments, alignments, and repairs to ensure proper operation.
  • Use CMMS software to create and complete work orders and accurately document maintenance activities.
  • Assist with equipment installations, modifications, and improvements as needed.
  • Perform general building and facility maintenance when needed.
  • Hands-on experience troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment.
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience working with 480V three-phase motors and electrical systems.
  • Basic MIG welding and fabrication experience.
  • Experience using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
  • Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical documentation.
