Certified Aws Welder-Pipe And Steel Casing

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Certified AWS Welder specializing in Pipe and Steel Casing to join our dynamic Boring team.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex projects that require precision welding, strict adherence to safety protocols, and a strong understanding of welding pipe in tight areas. As a Certified AWS Welder, you will play a vital part in fabricating, assembling, and welding metal materials with excellence and efficiency, ensuring all work meets industry standards and project specifications.

Your expertise will contribute to delivering high-quality steel structures and pipe systems that meet rigorous safety and quality benchmarks.
MUST HAVE A CURRENT AWS CERTIFICATION.

• Perform welding operations on pipe and steel casing using various techniques including stick welding in accordance with AWS standards.
• Work with a team performing any necessary welding and assistance during boring operations.
• Measure and mark metal materials using calipers, micrometers, measuring instruments, and shop math to ensure precise cuts and welds.
• Use power tools, plasma cutters, hand tools, and machining equipment for cutting, shaping, assembling, and finishing metal components.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols during all fabrication activities to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and team members.

• Proven construction site experience with a focus on metal fabrication or pipe welding projects. We are willing to train the right person if you are new tot he industry but must be certified.
• Familiarity with construction tools.
• Strong mechanical knowledge related to steel piping systems, sheet metal fabrication, assembly processes, and construction practices.
• Ability to work safely following established safety protocols.
• Knowledge of American Welding Society (AWS) standards is essential for ensuring compliance with industry best practices.

Bilingual preferred but not necessary, Spanish would be very helpful in this role. Must be willing to travel throughout TX, this is non-negotiable. We provide an RV or hotel unless you have your own RV at which point we pay for RV spot plus a daily per diem.

Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50.0 – 60.0 per week
