Due to continued growth, we are now looking to appoint a Service Administrator to support our team and help us maintain the high standards our clients and candidates expect.
As a Service Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting the operational and administrative functions of the business. This is a varied and fast-paced role, ideal for someone who is highly organised and confident managing multiple tasks in a professional environment.
Key responsibilities include:
Administrative & Office Support
• Provide comprehensive administrative support to the recruitment team
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on internal systems and databases
• Handle incoming calls, emails, and enquiries in a professional and friendly manner
• Manage documentation, filing, and data entry tasks efficiently
Compliance & Safeguarding
• Support the compliance process for candidates, including: right to work checks, DBS documentation, qualification checks, and reference checks
• Ensure all records meet current safeguarding and education recruitment regulations
• Monitor expiry dates and request updated documentation where required
Candidate & Client Support
• Act as a point of contact for candidates during their onboarding process
• Liaise with schools to support booking and placement administration
• Assist with issuing contracts, confirmation details, and assignment information
General Duties
• Support payroll and timesheet administration
• Contribute to continuous improvement of administrative processes
• Carry out any other reasonable administrative tasks to support the business
The ideal candidate will have:
• Previous experience in an administrative or office-based role
• Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail
• Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
• A proactive and reliable approach to work
