Prepress Operator

Linney is a world-class, multichannel marketing services business. We are looking to appoint a prepress operator to provide a digital repro service to our customers.

The successful candidate will need to ensure a great customer experience through accurate processing of supplied artwork into printable files.

Repro skills should include fixing artwork files, retouching, digital imposition and output to proof and plate, with both being carefully checked to reduce potential problems.

The role involves working with a wide range of software applications across various workflows, leading to plate output for litho presses and imposed PDF files for large format digital devices.

Essential skills:

• Care and attention to detail at all times
• Awareness of likely technical issues with files
• Ability to check carefully
• A focus on reducing the risk of error
• Awareness of post-repro processes and their requirements
• A thorough, logical, detailed and careful approach to jobs of varying complexity or urgency
