EYFS Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic EYFS Teacher to join a Early Years Unit in Mansfield. This maternity cover position is available until October 2026 and offers an exciting opportunity for an EYFS Teacher to lead a mixed Nursery and Foundation Stage 2 class.

The appointed EYFS Teacher will take responsibility for delivering high-quality teaching and learning in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage framework. As an EYFS Teacher, you will have full planning, assessment and reporting responsibilities, working closely with support staff to ensure all children make strong progress.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a mixed Nursery and Foundation Stage 2 class as an EYFS Teacher
• Plan, deliver and assess engaging learning experiences appropriate to early years pupils
• Track progress and adapt provision to meet individual needs
• Work collaboratively with Early Years colleagues, parents and carers
• Create a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment

The Successful Candidate Will:

• Have previous experience working as an EYFS Teacher or within an Early Years setting
• Demonstrate a secure understanding of the EYFS framework
• Have strong planning and assessment skills
• Be organised, reflective and committed to children's wellbeing and development
