Job detailsSalary The salary is Band 5, £26,792 per annum (this is a spot salary) with the possibility of a current market allowance for the required vocational qualification and experience.

1. The AppointmentThe post holder will be expected to provide support to staff and learners within the area of electrical.
You will assist in the efficient and effective operation of the college workshops with specific responsibilities for electrical and will organise the tools and materials as well as ordering materials from manufacturers. You will also be expected to work across all of the electrical workshops where necessary.
The ideal candidate will be required to support the team teaching within the College and the safe maintenance of equipment, preparation areas and workshops. The role will also include a ‘demonstration’ element. This will involve the delivery of practical sessions as and when required. To facilitate this, the ideal candidate will complete an assessing qualification.
