Primary Teaching Assistant

The school is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant on a long-term basis with an immediate start. The successful Teaching Assistant will support across KS1 and EYFS, providing 1:1 support, delivering phonics sessions, supporting continuous provision and working closely with pupils with SEND within a mainstream setting.

• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant or Childcare qualification
• Experience working within KS1 and/or EYFS settings
• Strong knowledge of phonics and continuous provision
• Experience providing 1:1 support and supporting SEND pupils
• Ability to support learning using scaffolding and AFL strategies
• A proactive, flexible and ‘can-do’ attitude
