Are you looking for a full-time Computer Science Teacher role within a Further Education setting offering a broad range of Computing qualifications?

Teacher Active is proud to be working with a well-established Further Education College in Mansfield to recruit a Computer Science Teacher. The college has strong Ofsted ratings for local skills and offers extensive vocational and A-Level choices, industry-standard facilities and practical learning environments, alongside clear progression routes into university or employment.

The college is looking to appoint a Computer Science Teacher on a full-time maternity cover basis, starting ASAP. The successful Computer Science Teacher will deliver a range of hardware and software topics across programmes including BTEC Levels 1, 2 and 3, Access to HE Computing, Apprenticeships and T-Levels, supporting learners to develop both their technical knowledge and practical skills.

The successful Computer Science Teacher will have:

• A relevant teaching qualification
• Experience teaching post-16 learners
• Experience delivering a range of hardware and/or software topics
• Broad knowledge and experience across Computing programmes
• The ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons across a range of levels
• A positive and adaptable approach to supporting learners
