Secondary ICT Teacher Full-Time ICT Teacher

Milk Education is partnering with a forward-thinking secondary school in Mansfield to recruit a talented ICT Teacher for a full-time role starting in September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to join a welcoming department that values innovation, creativity, and high-quality teaching.

You'll have the chance to deliver engaging ICT and Computer Science lessons while helping students build the digital knowledge and practical skills they'll use throughout their education and future careers.

What You'll Be Doing

As the successful ICT Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging ICT and Computer Science lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Encourage students to develop confidence in areas such as programming, digital literacy, cybersecurity, databases, and computer systems.
  • Plan creative lessons that challenge and motivate learners of all abilities.
  • Assess pupil progress and provide effective feedback to support achievement.
  • Create a positive classroom environment where students feel motivated to learn and succeed.
  • Differentiate learning to ensure every pupil can access the curriculum.
  • Work closely with colleagues to contribute to a successful and supportive department.
  • Participate in parents' evenings, departmental meetings, and wider school life.
What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching ICT and/or Computer Science in a secondary school setting.
  • Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for digital technology.
  • The ability to inspire, challenge, and engage young people.
  • An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one through Milk Education.
