Project Support Engineer – Mansfield – Up to £30,000

30,000 per annum.

Turner Fox Recruitment are recruiting for a Project Support Engineer on behalf of our well-established engineering client based in Mansfield.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a long-term career within a technical engineering environment. This role would suit someone currently working within engineering, projects, technical support, quotations, manufacturing or coordination roles who is looking to progress into a more commercially focused position.

You may currently be working as a Project Coordinator, Junior Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Technical Support Engineer, Project Engineer, Internal Sales Engineer or be an apprentice with around 2–3 years’ experience looking for the next step in your career.

• Supporting the preparation of technical quotations and costings for bespoke engineering projects
• Reviewing customer specifications, tender documentation and technical information
• Liaising with customers regarding project requirements and quotations
• Working closely with engineering, procurement and technical teams
• Attending site visits to gain a better understanding of projects and customer requirements
• Using internal quotation and project costing systems
• Supporting projects from initial enquiry through to quotation stage
• Identifying project-specific requirements within technical documentation

• Excellent Microsoft Excel and Word skills
• Ability to read and understand technical documentation
• Strong attention to detail
• Engineering or electrical knowledge would be advantageous but not essential
• Motivated to learn and develop within a technical environment
• Good communication and organisational skills
