Credit Controller – Mansfield

Hours:

Mon–Thu 8:30–5:00, Fri 9:00–3:00

Contract:

Full‑time, Permanent

Location:

Office‑based (no hybrid)

The Role

A long‑established, fast‑growing manufacturing group is looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join its busy finance team. This is a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment where you’ll manage 250–290 live accounts, including several key customers, and play a key role in maintaining strong cash flow.

What You’ll Be Doing

* Cash collection across a busy ledger

* Chasing aged debt and managing accounts over credit limit

* Resolving customer queries to improve payment performance

* Working with sales & customer service to keep accounts clean

* Monitoring KPIs and contributing to reporting

* Credit limit reviews and payment term checks

* Account reconciliations and month‑end support

* Additional duties including:

* Daily invoicing

* Posting/allocating payments

* Raising credit notes

* Uploading invoices to portals

* Setting up new customer accounts

What We’re Looking For

* 3+ years’ Credit Control experience

* Comfortable with high volume and multiple systems

* Strong communication and relationship‑building skills

* Highly organised with excellent attention to detail

* Confident, proactive, and able to work at pace

* Experience in a large, multi‑site or group business is ideal

Systems Environment

You’ll work across several systems (legacy and new), so being system‑savvy is essential. This role suits someone who enjoys variety and isn’t fazed by change.
