Occupational Therapist – Mental Health (Recovery & Rehabilitation Focus)

If you are an experienced Occupational Therapist – Mental Health (Recovery & Rehabilitation Focus) looking to shape a service rather than inherit one, this role offers a rare opportunity to influence how recovery-focused occupational therapy is delivered from the outset. You will have the time, space, and authority to embed meaningful, outcomes-led practice with adults experiencing complex mental health needs.

• Salary up to £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.

You will be joining a newly commissioned mental health service with a clear recovery and rehabilitation focus. The organisation is committed to person-centred care, multidisciplinary collaboration, and building high-quality services led by experienced clinicians.

• Deliver recovery-focused occupational therapy assessments and interventions for adults with complex mental health needs.
• Design and implement personalised rehabilitation programmes that promote independence and quality of life.
• Contribute clinical expertise to the development of the service’s therapeutic model and outcomes framework.

• HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist.
• Experience working in adult mental health recovery or rehabilitation services.
• Experience contributing to multidisciplinary team working within a mental health setting.
