What You’ll Do
  • Provide person‑centred support to adults with mental health needs
  • Assist with daily living: cooking, cleaning, personal care & appointments
  • Encourage independence, confidence and recovery
  • Deliver support in line with detailed support plans & risk assessments
  • Promote positive wellbeing and meaningful activity
  • Maintain accurate records and follow all policies & procedures
  • Work collaboratively with families and professionals
  • Use mobility equipment where required

About The Service – Acorn View

Acorn View consists of 16 modern, self‑contained flats for adults with mental health needs (some with mild learning disabilities). Support is available on‑site daily from 8am to 8pm. Individuals are largely semi‑independent and benefit from a stable, supportive recovery environment and personal growth.

⏰ Shifts & Pay
  • Shifts are between the hours of 8:00am and 8:00pm.
  • The service is open 7 days a week and you will work on a rota basis.
  • The role may require assisting another service in close proximity which is open 24 hours a day and requires a sleep‑in shift.
  • Extra pay for sleep‑ins
  • Rotas include weekends & bank holiday work
