We have an exciting opportunity for a Recovery Coordinator who has the skills and experience to assess and engage with our service users, ensuring that they access the right intervention at the right time, in a way that best meets their needs.

Competency Based Interview : 13th October, 2026
Value Based Interview: 14th October 2026
Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.
ResponsibilitiesWith this role you’ll be working as part of the single point of contact team which is a Nottinghamshire team based in Mansfield.
About the role:
- Ensuring that change grow live’s values are at the heart of everything we all do, through values based decision making and leadership.
- Engage people who have substance misuse problems and provide them with advice, support and recovery focused structured clinical interventions to support their recovery and primary health care needs.
- Carry out triages, comprehensive service user assessments and develop individual recovery plans that clearly identify how achieving each goal will enable progression in addressing substance use, re/integrating into the community when required.
- To ensure we are providing excellent customer service to people who contact us and ensure everyone work in the ethos of “no wrong door” and a ‘can do’ attitude.
- Ensure the timely and accurate collection, recording and reporting of specified data.
- To be creative and innovative so that the post best meets the needs of the service user, promoting access into treatment, and continued engagement with underrepresented communities.
- Work with your team and Designated Safeguarding Lead (if not your role) to ensure that the practices within the service enable identification of service users, children and families who are ure you are competent in the delivery of interventions that reduce risk to service users.
- Ensure that all aspects of confidentiality are adhered to and that consent to share information is a key element to building trusting therapeutic alliances.
- To support the smooth running of the service, by contributing to tasks such as reception, duty cover, and clinical duties on an ad hoc basis.

- To assist and carry out appropriate screening processes including DBST, urine and saliva tests, after completion of appropriate training or demonstration of relevant experience.
- To carry out key harm reduction strategies such as running of the Needle Exchange and distribution of Naloxone, after completion of appropriate training or demonstration of relevant experience.
About you:
- Excellent team working and interpersonal skills, maintaining a highly cooperative approach to supporting colleagues in delivering service objectives.
- Experience of working with substance misuse service and excellent knowledge of Harm Reduction principles
