Position: Application Specialist - Sectra Medical

We are currently looking for an application specialist with a passion for IT, serving customers in the UK & Ireland

Working as an application specialist

Our application specialists are experts when it comes to using the Sectra applications. Their aim is to optimize our customers’ use of our different solutions to their best advantage. This include responsibilities such as:

  • Provide on-site and web-based training as well as classroom training
  • Make new site deployment configurations and workflow analysis
  • Create internal and external documents
  • Work closely with our Professional Services, Technical Support and Sales Departments to provide application knowledge and support, and be involved in deployment activities including delivering training to hospitals globally on a Radiation Dose Management System
  • Become an important point of reference for all application queries, from customers and other internal contacts and departments
  • Be part of a team with good colleagues, where you are responsible for helping our clients with operating support, configuration and training in Sectra’s IT solutions
  • Help our customers with workflow analyses and business improvements to make them as effective as possible in their daily work
  • Be an important contact person for application issues, both for customers and internally within the company
  • Your daily work will be carried out in close cooperation with Sectra’s customers and end users

To perform well in this role, we want you to have:
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Radiography/Medical Physics or equivalent with a strong academic performance OR have a clinical background, for example, as a radiology nurse or technician
  • Fluent in English both verbally and written
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • A strong interest in usability and medical IT
  • Have excellent customer service skills as well as verbal, written, listening and presenting skills
In addition, we consider it as an asset if you also:
  • Previous experience as an application engineer
  • Experience in a Radiation Protection role would be ideal
  • Speak more languages than those required above
  • Have experience with other cultures and countries
  • Have interests besides work such as music, sports, horseback riding etc.
