Are you looking for a long-term position with the potential to become permanent?

A well-established electronics manufacturing company based in Clipstone, Mansfield are looking for Assembly Operative to join them on a temporary to permanent basis.

In this Assembly Operative role you will be working with printed circuit boards (PCBs), soldering electronic components onto the PCBs and assembling them into cases and chassis.

We are seeking Assembly Operatives with assembly and soldering experience, ideally within PCB or electronic assembly.

Pay Rate: £13 per hour Temporary to Permanent Immediate Start Available

Working Hours:

Monday to Thursday

  • 7:45am - 4:30pm
  • 15-minute paid morning break
  • 20-minute lunch break

Friday

  • 7:45am - 2pm
  • 15-minute paid morning break

The Ideal Assembly Operative:
  • Previous experience in PCB assembly or electronic assembly
  • Confident soldering small electronic components
  • Good attention to detail and quality standards
  • Ability to follow technical instructions and production processes
  • Reliable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
Key Responsibilities of an Assembly Operative:
  • Populating printed circuit boards (PCBs) with electronic components
  • Soldering electronic components to PCBs
  • Assembling printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) into cases and chassis
  • Inspecting PCBAs to ensure high-quality workmanship standards are met
  • Carrying out modifications and repairs where required
  • Preparing components and wires, including tinning
  • Following production instructions provided by supervisors
  • Supporting environmental and energy-saving initiatives
  • Adhering to all company Health & Safety policies and procedures
