Production Operatives – Chocolate Manufacturing About the Role

We are currently recruiting Production Operatives to join a busy food manufacturing environment specialising in chocolate products.

This is an excellent opportunity for reliable, hardworking individuals who enjoy working as part of a team and are looking to build experience within the food production and manufacturing industry.

As a Production Operative, you will play an important role in ensuring products are manufactured, packed and prepared to the highest standards of quality, hygiene and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operating production and packing machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Assisting with the manufacture and packaging of chocolate products.
  • Weighing, preparing and handling ingredients and materials as required.
  • Monitoring production lines and reporting any issues to supervisors.
  • Carrying out quality checks to ensure products meet required standards.
  • Packing finished products and preparing them for dispatch.
  • Maintaining a clean, tidy and hygienic working environment.
  • Following strict food hygiene, health and safety and production procedures.
  • Working towards production targets while maintaining high standards of accuracy.
  • Carrying out manual handling duties where required.
  • Working effectively as part of a busy production team.

  • Previous experience in food production, manufacturing or warehouse work is desirable but not essential, as full training may be provided.
