TN Talent Recruitment are recruiting for an established and successful precision engineering business in Mansfield, looking to strengthen their team with an experienced CNC Milling Setter/Operator.

• Setting and operating multi-axis CNC milling machines.
• Producing precision-engineered components to tight tolerances.
• Reading and working from detailed engineering drawings.
• Carrying out dimensional checks and inspecting your own work.
• Using measuring equipment to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Making adjustments to machining processes where required.
• Identifying and resolving machining issues to minimise downtime.
• Working closely with colleagues to meet production requirements.
• Supporting machine maintenance and continuous improvement activities.
• Maintaining a safe, clean and organised working environment.

• Previous experience as a CNC Miller, CNC Machinist or CNC Setter/Operator.
• Hands-on experience setting and operating multi-axis CNC milling machines.
• A good understanding of machining processes and precision engineering.
• The ability to confidently interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience working to tight tolerances.
• Confidence using measuring and inspection equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and a quality-focused approach.
• A positive attitude and the ability to work both independently and within a team.
• Experience with in aerospace or another high-precision manufacturing environment would be beneficial.

• £37,840 per annum + shift allowance
