ROLE
Warehouse Operative
PAY RATE£14.50 per hour PAYE
CONTRACT TYPEUntil 31st December | Monday to Friday

Note:
Forklift Counter Balance License required
- 6:00am – 2:00pm
- 2:00pm – 10:00pm
The successful candidate will support warehouse and production activities within a fast-paced print and mail environment. The role involves stock control, goods receipt, warehouse organisation, forklift and pallet truck safety checks, and supporting production operations to ensure client requirements and turnaround times are consistently achieved.
This position is ideal for candidates with warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or production experience who are comfortable working in a busy environment and can demonstrate strong attention to detail, flexibility, and teamwork.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Receive, check, and book in daily stock deliveries
- Complete daily stock counts and maintain accurate inventory records
- Update stock information using company systems
- Liaise with production and client services teams regarding stock levels and stock movement requirements
- Maintain stock levels of consumables across production and warehouse areas
- Carry out daily safety checks on forklift trucks and pallet trucks
- Support warehouse housekeeping and ensure work areas remain clean and organised
- Assist production teams where required to meet operational demands
- Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies
- Accurately complete required documentation and records
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Flexible and adaptable approach to work
- Willingness to learn new skills and processes
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse and production environment
- Previous warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or production experience
- Experience with stock control and inventory management
- Basic IT skills and PC literacy
- Experience using warehouse management systems
- Forklift or pallet truck experience
- Understanding of warehouse health and safety procedures
- Warehouse and production-based environment
- Fast-paced operational setting with daily production targets
- Team-focused environment supporting print and mail operations
- Full training provided where required
