Clinician I – $74/hour
Schedule:
Full‑time, 40 hours per week

The salary provided is pay for Clinician I upon completion of our robust 4–6‑month training and a positive 6‑month review. Clinician I employees are promoted to Clinician II.
What You’ll Do Clinical Care- Review and interpret the medical and social history of reproductive health patients.
- Perform appropriate medical screening procedures and exams for male and female patients.
- Interpret laboratory data, order additional investigations when indicated, and ensure appropriate follow‑up.
- Provide a full range of contraceptive methods, including self‑administered options and injections.
- Manage basic STI and genitourinary conditions, provide medication abortion, and prescribe emergency contraception.
- Diagnose and treat uncomplicated STIs and genitourinary conditions; perform wart treatment and basic dermatological procedures.
- Provide gender‑affirming hormone therapy and related care; offer premenopausal and menopausal health services.
- Act as a medical consultant to clinic staff; manage emergency situations in the health center.
- Participate in staff meetings, provide training in current medical procedures relevant to reproductive health, and contribute to achieving clinic productivity goals.
- Demonstrate PPMM customer service standards and assist in other areas of center support work as required.
- Conduct and interpret medical histories for sexual and reproductive health visits.
- Perform pelvic and breast exams, Pap smears, and other screening procedures.
- Order and interpret laboratory tests, ensuring timely follow‑up.
- Manage urgent health situations that arise during clinic operations.
- Act as a clinical resource for medical assistants and support staff.
- Attend staff meetings and contribute to clinic productivity and quality benchmarks.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high‑quality care.
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, Women’s Health NP, or Certified Nurse Midwife program.
- Current, unrestricted license to practice in the state of California.
- Board certification.
- CPR/BLS certification (current or within 30 days of hire).
- Strong customer‑service mindset and ability to thrive in a team‑based environment.
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Windows‑based systems).
- Experience in reproductive health, OB/GYN, gender‑affirming care, or family planning.
- Commitment to providing care that is respectful, inclusive, and affirming to all patients.
