Part Time Registered Nurse - 4th Shift

DaVita Kidney Care is seeking a registered nurse for the 4th shift. Position is part time with a 10‑12 hour shift three to four days a week, early evenings to nights. The role will begin with full‑time paid training (2‑4 weeks) before transitioning into the part‑time position.

Base Pay Range

$39.00/hr - $54.00/hr

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Minimum 9 months RN experience; dialysis experience NOT required.
• Current driver’s license, reliable transportation, and vehicle insurance in state of residence.
• Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited school of nursing required;
  Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or three‑year diploma from an accredited program may substitute for a nursing degree.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word and Outlook; chart patient notes in our electronic medical record system.

Nice‑to‑Haves

• Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Critical Care Unit (CCU), Emergency Room (ER), or Medical Surgical (Med Surg) experience.
• Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN).
• Previous Chronic Hemodialysis, Acute Dialysis and/or Home Hemodialysis (HHD) nursing experience.
• Training/Teaching/Healthcare Education background.

Additional Details About This Position

• No Dialysis experience is required.
• Training may take place in a facility or a training clinic with a class of new teammates other than your assigned home clinic.
• Float to various clinics during and after your training.
• Must be flexible on the final home clinic placement; may float to various clinics.
• Flexible schedule; must work Monday through Saturday mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Current RN license in the state of practice;
  Graduate Nurse pre‑licensure available in some locations.
• Desire to deliver care empathetically and compassionately.
• Experience assessing, troubleshooting and making sound recommendations in stressful situations.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word and Outlook.

Compensation Details

The Wage Range for the role is $39.00 - $54.00/hour. Compensation will depend on factors including candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
