The Sales Associate/Beauty Advisor will focus on creating a memorable shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities include:

• Build relationships and inspire loyalty.
• Recommend additional and complementary products.
• Inform customers of current promotions and events.
• Set up advertising displays and arrange merchandise to highlight sales and promotional events.
• Enroll customers in the Loyalty program.
• Complete transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a professional store environment and communicate inventory issues.
• Demonstrate Sally Beauty Culture Values.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 1+ years of retail sales/customer service experience preferred.
• Must be available to meet the scheduling needs of the business.
• Excellent communication skills with customers, co-workers and management.
• Ability to apply product knowledge from training to support customer service.
• Can read and explain product labels.
• Can follow direction and perform other duties as assigned by Manager.

• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs, occasionally while on a ladder, with or without accommodation.
• May be exposed to fumes and odors on occasion.

The position requires physical exertion such as long periods of standing, walking, bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, or similar activities; occasional lifting of moderately heavy items. May involve working around moving parts, carts, or machines and exposure to irritant chemicals.
