This role will lead all high-voltage electrical engineering work for Gotion’s energy storage stations, photovoltaic (solar) power stations, and other North American power station assets—as well as provide high-voltage technical support to the factory’s production lines. The Director will oversee project execution, ensure safe and reliable operations, and drive technical excellence across multiple scenarios.

• Lead high-voltage engineering for energy storage stations, photovoltaic stations and other power stations in North America.
• Oversee project implementation, equipment installation, commissioning, troubleshooting and performance optimization to ensure stable and efficient operations.
• Develop and optimize O&M strategies and high-voltage technical standards aligned with US codes and business needs.
• Coordinate with suppliers, utilities, EPC partners and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.

• Bachelor’s degree or above in electrical engineering, power systems, high voltage & insulation, or related fields;
  Master’s preferred.
• 8+ years high-voltage engineering experience, including 3+ years team or project management in power stations (ESS, PV) or large-scale industrial high-voltage systems.
• Experience in equipment installation, commissioning and full-process project execution.
• North America work experience strongly preferred.
• Possession of senior electrician license or US-recognized certifications; strong knowledge of NEC and local electrical codes.
• Ability to work on-site at the Chicago factory, with flexibility for overtime, emergency response and business travel.
• Legal status that allows for long-term work in the United States, with English proficiency sufficient for professional duties.
• Excellent communication skills in Chinese preferred.

• Strong expertise in high-voltage architecture, equipment operation, O&M logic and system optimization for ESS and PV stations.
• Advanced diagnostic capability for high-voltage faults and the ability to resolve complex technical problems under time pressure.
• Solid understanding of industrial power distribution systems and equipment (transformers, switch gear, VFDs, MCCs, etc.).
• Proficiency in reading, reviewing, and coordinating technical drawings and electrical design packages.
• Strong grounding in high-voltage safety standards, hazard identification, and risk control.
