3rd Shift Mixer Operator

Base pay range

$18.00/hr - $21.00/hr

This mixer operator position is responsible for efficiently and accurately performing ingredient mixes. Incumbent must work together with other mixing team members to ensure optimum efficiency and to promptly report any concerns.

• Follow specific recipe sheets to mix ingredients
• Weigh out dry and wet ingredients accurately
• Complete assigned tasks in timely fashion
• Maintain appropriate PPE and sanitation
• Communicate mixer concerns promptly to master mixer or supervisor
• Ensure quality specifications are met
• Ensure that all safety rules, OSHA requirements and company policies are followed
• All staff are responsible for compliance with all GMP, food safety and plant safety rules while in the processing facility. Staff are encouraged to report food safety and quality concerns immediately to their supervisors and quality representatives on shift
• Other responsibilities as assigned by management

• Qualified individuals must be at least 18 years old to work in the food manufacturing environment
• Ability to follow work instructions and maintain pace of mixing is required
• Effective communication skills are needed to maintain batches
• Requires keen attention to detail and experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
• The individual must be able to perform each essential job duty and responsibility satisfactorily

• Work in and out of cold environment
• Must wear required PPE and follow sanitation protocol
• Lift up to 50 lbs
• Maneuver around an array of equipment that may include bending, stooping, reach above head
• Stand for majority of shift, up to8 hrs at a time
