JOB SUMMARYThismastermixer position is responsible for efficiently and accurately performing ingredient mixes. Individual must worktogetherwithothermixingteammemberstoensureoptimum efficiencyandto promptlyreportanyconcerns.
The master mixer is in charge of the mixer assigned as well as appropriately and accurately filling out that mixer’s paperwork.
- Followspecificrecipesheetstomixingredients
- Weighoutdryandwetingredientsaccurately.
- Coordinatemixingprocesswithmixeroperators.
- Completeassignedtasksintimelyfashion
- MaintainappropriatePPEandsanitationprocedures
- Communicatemixerconcernspromptlytosupervisor.
- Ensurequalityspecificationsaremet.
- Ensurethatall Safety rules,OSHArequirementsand Company Policiesarefollowed .
- Allstaffareresponsiblefor
Compliancewithall
GMP,Food Safetyand Plant Safetyruleswhileinthe processing facility.
Staff are encouraged to report Food Safety and Quality concerns immediately to their supervisors and Quality representatives on shift. - Otherresponsibilitiesasassignedby Management.
Qualifiedindividualsmustbe atleast
18yearsoldtoworkinthefoodmanufacturingenvironment.
Abilitytofollowwork instruction and maintain pace of mixing is required.
Effective communication skills are needed to maintain batches. This position requires incumbent to have keen attention to detail and experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
The individual must be able to perform each essential job duty and responsibility satisfactorily.
- Workinandoutofcold environment.
- MustwearrequiredPPEandfollowsanitationprotocol
- Lift up to 50 lbs.
- Maneuveraroundanarrayofequipmentthatmayinclude:bending,stooping,reachabovehead.
- Standformajorityofshift,upto8hrs.atatime.
Thispositionworksinamanufacturingenvironmentwithvariabletemperatureandloudnoisesfrommachineryand equipment alarms.
