Job Description
As a Quality Control Technician, you will be responsible for conducting pre-operation inspections, performing X-ray and metal detector testing, and ensuring comprehensive quality checks and documentation. You will also be tasked with performing dimension and integrity checks on packaging, verifying ingredient codes on labels, and conducting seal and specification checks. Additionally, you will monitor for foreign materials and hold production lines if necessary to maintain quality standards.
Responsibilities- Conduct pre-operation inspections.
- Perform X-ray testing and metal detector testing.
- Carry out quality checks and maintain quality documentation.
- Check dimensions and integrity of boxes and packaging.
- Match ingredients on labels with product codes.
- Conduct seal checks and verify specification details such as best-by dates.
- Inspect for foreign materials and hold lines as needed to ensure quality.
- Quality control experience in the food industry.
- Understanding of HACCP and critical control points is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, high level of integrity, and effective time management.
- Ability to multitask, communicate effectively, and maintain honesty and accountability.
The pay range for this position is $20.00 – $22.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
