Responsibilities

• Provide technical service to refuse vehicles and equipment
• Perform proper maintenance and repairs on refuse equipment
• Have knowledge of how refuse equipment operates
• Properly complete the service and/or repairs assigned by the Service Manager
• Complete all work according to applicable safety requirements and published procedures
• Participate in, and utilize to the best of your abilities, technical training as assigned
• Maintain a safe work environment
• Adhere to EJ Equipment’s policies and procedures related to labor operations, time, and repair order documentation
• Perform any other duties as outlined by the Service Manager

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of refuse mechanic experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• CDL certification preferred but not required
• Be a dedicated team player with a strong commitment to customer service
• Self-motivated and professional
