Job Description

Family Guidance Centers, Inc. (FGC) is a not‑for‑profit behavioral health organization that treats and prevents substance use disorder and related problems. • Transport program patients for admission and discharge, medical and other community appointments (approximately 75 % of work time).
• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of agency vans.

• Provide motivational support to assist counselors in meeting therapeutic goals.
• Support treatment plans by reporting client observations and supporting decisions concerning therapy, discipline and privilege (at a minimum twice per shift, subject to change).
• Assist case manager/counselor with client activities by implementing scheduled and/or requested activities.
• Cooperate with nursing and medical staff to monitor clients’ vital signs, observe urine drops, monitor self‑administration of medications, and chart all pertinent data.
• Perform room and facility checks at varying intervals to ensure client comfort, safety and well‑being.

Sunday – Thursday, 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM (2nd shift)

$17.50 per hour

• Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED (required). Experience in substance use, detox programs, medication‑assisted treatment, behavioral healthcare and/or community relations encouraged.
• Certificates and Licenses: Driver’s license and current insurance. Must become certified as Certified CPRS/CRSS within one year.
• DCFS clearance required.
• Must work in a drug‑free environment (including THC and/or CBD).
