• Gain familiarity with auto maintenance concepts and practices.
• Perform routine maintenance duties such as oil changes, filter replacements, fuel filter and transmission flushes, spark plug changes, and vehicle inspections.
• Conduct battery testing, maintenance, and replacement, as well as repair of starting and charging electrical systems.
• Carry out repairs including tire service, safety inspections, and interior/exterior component work.
• Diagnose and repair brake, steering, and suspension systems.
• Perform AC evacuation and recharge.
• Maintain equipment and use approved vendors to procure parts.
• Fit new vehicles with necessary equipment (upfit).
• Adhere to procedures and regulations for recyclables, fluids, tires, and disposable waste.

Hourly base pay $21.54–$32.31 per hour, variable based on location and candidate qualifications. Additional compensation may include commissions or incentive programs.
