About the roleThe Principal Curriculum Development Strategist designs high‑impact learning experiences aligned to ICTx business priorities. Focus is on customer‑facing education that drives product awareness, procedural adoption, and clinical advocacy through cutting‑edge curriculum. The role spans multiple modalities—including eLearning, gamification, video, scenario‑based training, and in‑person programs—targeted at a global healthcare audience.
Key responsibilities- Lead the strategy and development of a multi‑modality educational journey for clinical fellows.
- Design and execute a global e‑learning series on calcium treatment strategies in collaboration with curriculum consultants.
- Develop gamified content for both live and online programs to boost learner engagement.
- Represent education, marketing, and R&D needs in the design and development of educational applications.
- Collaborate with EDUCARE to enhance learner experience across both live and digital platforms.
- Partner with Virtual Reality SMEs and external developers to optimize immersive learning.
- Leverage AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, 11labs, Copilot) to enhance content creation and delivery.
- Develop tracking capabilities and recommendations for educational content within learner journeys.
- Apply UX principles to align stakeholder needs with seamless application experiences.
- Ensure all educational content meets legal, regulatory, and compliance standards.
- Minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience designing educational content and curriculum.
- Demonstrated ability to develop content involving complex, technical, or regulated topics.
- Proficiency in instructional design frameworks and adult learning principles.
- Proven experience with clinical story creation in various methodologies including PowerPoint.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Lightroom).
- Proficiency with video editing tools such as Premiere Pro, Camtasia, Audacity, Media Encoder, and AI tools such as Enterprise ChatGPT, Copilot, or 11labs for content or voiceover.
- Proven experience using Articulate Suite (Storyline, Rise) for eLearning development.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
- Strong project management and stakeholder collaboration skills.
- Ability to travel up to 30% domestically.
- Ability to lift and transport educational supplies and equipment up to 40 lbs.
- Advanced degree in education, instructional design, medical education, or a related field.
- Background in science, healthcare, or medical technology.
- Experience working with legal and regulatory review processes in a highly regulated industry.
- Prior experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, or hospital‑based training environments.
- Knowledge of UX design or learner experience design best practices.
