Responsibilities
- Attend and successfully complete the Professional Peace Officer Education (PPEO) program with a minimum grade of
B. - Complete all required classwork and related assignments on time and on schedule.
- Continuously progress toward and pass the MN POST licensing exam.
- Attend required department meetings, trainings, and city events.
- Maintain regular communication with the designated department liaison during the academy.
- Ride‑along with Corcoran Police as directed by the training coordinator.
- When not attending any required classes or activities, report to Corcoran PD to assist with other duties assigned.
Education and Experience
- Associate's Degree or higher from a regionally accredited college or university.
Valid Driver's License
Ability to use a computer for coursework and for responding to email. Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Outlook) preferred.
