AboutThe Role
Manufacturing Engineer I located in Arden Hills, Minnesota. The Engineering team focuses on supporting and leading initiatives for daily product, process, material, and equipment support. This role partners with cross‑functional teams to evaluate, troubleshoot, and implement manufacturing processes to achieve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity goals.
Responsibilities- Monitor performance of equipment, machines, and tools to correct problems or identify issues that contribute to non‑conforming parts, low yields, or quality problems.
- Perform troubleshooting on new and existing products/process issues related to design, material, or processes.
- Contribute to business goals and product support using tools such as process capability studies, process development, Six Sigma, and Value Improvement projects, preparing reports and documentation.
- Summarize, analyze, and draw conclusions from test results.
- Identify, implement, and manage equipment requirements to support production goals.
- Work cooperatively with R&D, Process Development, Quality, Production, Regulatory, Equipment Engineering, Supply Chain, and Marketing to ensure project success.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferably Manufacturing, Electrical, or Mechanical).
- Proven understanding of engineering and problem‑solving principles, and data analysis using production flow tools (e.g., LEAN).
- Minimum of 6 months of related experience.
- Ability to develop creative solutions and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
- Initiative to identify, prioritize, communicate, and finalize improvement opportunities.
- Internship or applicable experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in the medical device industry.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to present ideas visually.
- Experience troubleshooting, analyzing, and repairing equipment.
- Proven ability to drive process improvement initiatives.
Minimum Salary: $58,200. Max Salary: $110,500. Actual earnings will vary based on location and experience.
