Position

Summary

We're looking to add a Senior Applications Engineer who will be responsible for working with our customers to help them create and manage unique solutions to their customization needs.

The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, detail oriented with strong organizational skills, communication skills, and strong problem solving and multitasking skills. MAS is a very agile company made up of motivated individuals that have a lot of responsibility and work together day to day.

Key Responsibilities
  • Actively communicate with sales team and customers, maintaining customer relationships
  • Lead the technical design and custom solution decisions for complex air handling unit projects
  • Coordinate actively with Design Engineering Manager to facilitate and execute applications team training programs, team growth, and application team KPIs
  • Coordinate actively with team leaders to support sales & application’s pipeline
  • Maintain a thorough understanding and application of commercial HVAC components within the air handling unit system
  • Engage with sales team members to coordinate support of sales process, including accompanying sales on customer visits (can include up to 10% travel)
  • Engage with operations team members to coordinate development of processes
  • Engage with product & development team, to incorporate application of new solutions
  • Complete complex job approvals and lead kickoff meetings
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Mechanical Engineering Degree
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial air handling industry sales and/or design
  • 2D CAD and Microsoft Word/Excel
