Our R&D engineers are tasked with designing and developing innovative, breakthrough next-generation medical devices that improve and extend the lives of patients around the world. The Interventional Oncology & Embolization (IO&E) division leads in minimally invasive therapies for cancer treatment, vessel trauma, and vascular access. Growth of the division is driven by the aging population, under-diagnosed and under-treated patient populations, heterogeneity of disease and unmet clinical need.

IO&E offers innovations in mechanical embolization, liquid/gel embolics, drainage, vascular access tools, and interventional oncology.

• Must graduate between Fall 2028 and Spring 2029
• Currently pursuing a bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Materials Science
• Must be able to commit to one of the following full internship program periods:
  May 17th – August 6th OR May 24th – August 13th
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the Maple Grove, MN (Arbor Lakes) Boston Scientific Corporate location

• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse cross-functional teams.
• Ability and passion to learn new technologies and find new solutions.
• Experience with single use devices or implants

Maximum Salary: $73736

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) – see — will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs.

At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.
