Our health system encompasses two hospital locations in Robbinsdale and Maple Grove as well as a network of 23 clinics which includes 13 primary clinics, 6 specialty clinics, 4 urgent care/urgency centers and emergency care offerings covering five counties. Our Robbinsdale Hospital, established in 1954, is a 385-bed facility recognized as the top Level 1 Trauma center for 25 years, as well as serving as a Level II pediatric trauma center.
Our Maple Grove Hospital was established in 2009, is a 134-bed facility recognized as a top hospital in the state for Women and Children Care, with a Level III NICU, and is the largest Family Birth Center in the state (~5,000 deliveries per year and over 60,000 babies delivered). Both have been named to the 2022 Fortune/Merative 100 Top Hospitals® list, 2023 Women’s Choice Award Best Hospitals list.

Responsible for the oversight and coordination of the quality and patient safety program for North Memorial Health hospitals and clinics. Facilitates an atmosphere of interactive management and develops relationships among clinical and operational professionals, risk management, and administration. This position has emphasis on the management of quality improvement and patient safety, including, but not limited to: incident reporting system oversight, patient experience, prevention of adverse health events, root cause analysis and action planning, incident data trending and improvement, endorsing and improving a strong patient safety culture, supporting the organizational framework for quality management system (QMS), and collaborating with medical staff on provider quality and peer review.
The Quality and Patient Safety Manager coordinates the operations of one or more defined areas in the Quality Department. The manager is accountable to the System Quality Director and supports, facilitates, role models, and operationalizes the mission, vision and values of North Memorial Health.
Requirements Education- Bachelor’s Degree in a healthcare, business or related field required
- Masters in a healthcare, business or related field preferred
- Three to five years’ experience in quality and customer safety
- Two years leadership experience

- Demonstrated verbal, written and formal presentation skills.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, including team building, supervision, problem solving, conflict resolution and change management.
