Maternal-Fetal Medicine Sonographer - CPT

The Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) Sonographer performs diagnostic ultrasound imaging and procedures under the direction of the MFM program providers and physician director of ultrasound. The MFM Sonographer has a thorough understanding of the equipment and its appropriate use.

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound imaging and procedures for maternal-fetal assessment.
• Interpret ultrasound findings and provide accurate reports.
• Maintain and calibrate sonography equipment.
• Collaborate with MFM program providers and physicians to deliver comprehensive patient care.

• Education – Graduate of an accredited program in Sonography.
• Experience – 1-5 years previous experience in MFM practice strongly preferred.
• Registered or Registry Eligible by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS). New graduates need to obtain within 24 months of hire.
• Fetal Nuchal Translucency Certification, preferred.
• Fetal Echocardiogram Certification, preferred.
• Cervical Length Education and Review (CLEAR), preferred.
• Knowledge of AIUM Accreditation standards, preferred.

• ARDMS Registered or Registry Eligible; new graduates need to obtain within 24 months of hire.
• BLS Certification.

Salary Range: B23 ($39.83 - $59.74) per hour, based on experience.
