The Clinic Supervisor is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of assigned clinic responsibilities, ensuring excellent patient service and delivery of care.
This is a full-time position working Monday - Friday 8 AM to 4:30 PM, hours may vary based upon business need also must be able to travel to Edina and Maple Grove locations.
Almara Women's Health is an operating division of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health), a group of local medical practices, owned and led by its physicians, on a mission to give patients more control over their healthcare.
Essential Functions:
- Operate as a liaison between leadership and clinic staff to ensure quality and efficiency of patient service. This may include meeting one-on-one with managers and/or staff to assess, educate, and review data on quality, service, teamwork, and integrity relating to the work of clinic staff members.
- Communicate and partner with Revo departments as needed
- Resource to staff and physicians related to IT, EMR and PM.
- Communicate and train existing staff on updates and new process change including EMR and PM
- Resolve patient complaints and concerns in a quick and efficient manner to provide a high level of patient satisfaction and quality service.
- Provide backup support for Supervisors/Leads when issues arise with illness, job position changes and leaves.
- Effectively recruit, train, manage, and retain employees
- Responsible for the coordination of the weekly clinic schedules including staffing and providers for appropriate patient access.
- Conduct frequent, timely, and appropriate communications with employees through meetings and one-on-one sessions; actively participate in meetings and other communications processes; share information timely, accurately and completely with others, as needed
- Conduct annual reviews of direct reports, including determination of any relevant compensation adjustments
- Complete all payroll processes as needed in HRIS, including leave of absences, time off requests, job changes, department transfers, terminations, etc.
- Occasionally participate in community functions relating to OGA outreach events throughout the year.
- Any and all other duties as assigned
- Must have healthcare leadership experience.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
- Minimum of 1 year supervisory/leadership experience. Healthcare setting preferred.
- Working knowledge of all applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines
