You Earned Your CPhT. What If You Could Spend More of Your Day Actually Using It?
You know the routine.
You're entering a prescription when the phone rings.
Someone needs the register.
There's a question at pickup.
Another prescription drops into the queue.
Someone needs help finding something.
And somehow, you're supposed to keep every prescription moving accurately while being pulled in five different directions.
If you've built your pharmacy career at Walgreens, CVS, Cub Foods, Hy-Vee, Walmart, Target/CVS, or another busy retail pharmacy , we want to introduce you to a different side of pharmacy.
United Community Pharmacy is hiring an experienced Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) to join our team in Saint Anthony with a primary focus on prescription data entry and medication order processing .
What You'll Actually Be DoingYou'll help keep medication orders moving for assisted living communities, memory care communities, group homes, and other healthcare organizations throughout Minnesota.
Your responsibilities will include:
High-volume prescription and medication order data entry
- Processing new prescriptions, refills, renewals, clarifications, and medication changes
- Maintaining accurate patient medication profiles
- Reviewing incoming orders for completeness before pharmacist verification

- Communicating with pharmacists, nurses, providers, and healthcare teams
- Supporting medication fulfillment and long-term care pharmacy workflows

You already understand urgency.
You already know prescription terminology.

You already know how to prioritize when the queue gets busy.
And you've probably developed the ability to concentrate with a lot happening around you.
This Could Be the Right Move If...You still enjoy medications, problem-solving, accuracy, and working alongside pharmacists.
You're just ready for something different than traditional retail.
Maybe you're tired of bouncing between the prescription queue and everything else happening around the pharmacy.
