Performs a moderately complex set of tasks and leads a process team responsible for the manufacture, assembly, repair, or modification of products. The incumbent operates under general supervision, provides functional guidance to peers, and makes recommendations that may affect the broader work unit.
Responsibilities- Act as lead and problem solver, balancing personnel and facilitating the movement of product(s) through the designated area of responsibility.
- Monitor the conduct, performance, and contribution of cell members.
- Perform manual assembly, operation of automated assembly equipment, hand soldering, operation of automated test equipment, and inspection and repair of products.
- Monitor quantity and quality output and lead production or prototype teams to meet group goals.
- Compile data and generate reports on cell performance.
- Apply foundational skills and appropriate technical/leadership skills.
- Must possess specific certifications as defined by site operations.
- Knowledge and understanding of board assembly process and product flow.
- Knowledge of product quality, soldering specifications, and SMT processing systems.
- Ability to set up, operate, and maintain assembly and hand soldering equipment and tools.
- Ability to recognize problems in the assembly process or with components and address them.
- Effective communication with a wide variety of internal and external customers.
- Team leadership to deliver high‑quality production within tight deadlines.
- Proficiency with computer applications (Word, Excel, Lotus Notes, documentation control systems).
- Advanced manufacturing system knowledge.
- Manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, machinery, temperature extremes.
- Periodic light physical effort and exertion including repetitive motions, manual dexterity, hand/eye coordination, sitting or standing in confined work spaces, handling materials.
- Periodic heavy manual effort (lifting).
- Extended visual concentration on detailed documentation and product assemblies.
- Adherence to local health and safety guidelines.

High school diploma and additional courses after high school, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Educational requirements may vary by geography.
Hourly Range: $20.80–$29.42
