Position SummaryThe Production Supervisor will oversee all production activities during the shift, managing a team of production workers, ensuring adherence to production schedules, and maintaining high standards of quality, efficiency, and safety. This role requires a hands‑on leader with expertise in HVAC production, strong problem‑solving skills, and the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

6:00 am – 10:00 am F
Key Responsibilities- Team Leadership:
Supervise, mentor, and motivate a team of production operators, technicians, and assembly workers, ensuring they are focused and efficient in their roles. - Production Management:
Ensure production schedules are met and that all products are manufactured in accordance with specifications and quality standards. - Quality Assurance:
Conduct regular inspections and audits of finished products to ensure they meet required quality standards. Address any defects or issues to maintain high levels of product quality. - Safety Compliance:
Enforce strict safety policies and procedures on the production floor. Ensure that all workers are trained on proper safety protocols and that they adhere to OSHA standards. - Troubleshooting and Problem Solving:
Address and resolve production issues such as machine malfunctions, material shortages, and delays to minimize downtime and keep production moving smoothly. - Process Improvement:
Lead efforts to improve production efficiency, reduce waste, and implement best practices in manufacturing. Identify areas for continuous improvement in workflow, equipment, and team performance. - Reporting and Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of production data, including output, quality metrics, machine performance, and any operational issues encountered during the shift. - Collaboration:
Work closely with cross‑functional teams, including Maintenance, Quality Control, and Supply Chain, to resolve issues and ensure seamless production processes. - Employee Development:
Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for team members to enhance skills and ensure adherence to manufacturing standards.
- High school diploma or GED
- 3+ years of experience in HVAC manufacturing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role within a production environment.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems and components, with experience in assembly, metalworking, or fabrication.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team of production staff to meet objectives in a fast‑paced environment.
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and best practices for maintaining a safe working environment.
- Proficient in the use of manufacturing equipment, ERP systems, and other production‑related software.
- Technical certifications or degree in HVAC, Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) and managing high-volume production environments.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with team members and other departments.
- Excellent troubleshooting and decision‑making skills to address production issues and prevent delays.
