Bindery Technician; Day Shift

This entry-level opportunity offers a pay rate of $17.00 per hour, with regular increases up to $20.90.

• Feed forms into the proper pocket, checking for correctness.
• Prepare lifts of signatures, ensuring even filling and removing damaged forms.
• Stack books properly on pallets to maintain integrity.
• Verify load tags and form identifications.
• Follow duties assigned by supervisors.
• Re-pile good forms to reduce waste.
• Check books for trimming, wires, and markings.
• Ensure labels and bundles are sorted and glued properly.
• Verify inkjet readability and sorting.
• Ensure proper tagging and matching of bundles with destinations.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous finishing operator experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cutting, mailing, and folding is desirable.
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong math skills.

• Frequent standing and use of hands.
• Talking or listening often required.
• Occasional sitting, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth, and focus adjustment.
