Folder Operator (2 openings) – Maple Grove, MN

Pay: $25–$28 per hour

We are seeking an experienced Folder Operator to set up and operate commercial-grade bindery equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience with MBO and Vijuk folders, strong mechanical aptitude, and a keen eye for quality and accuracy.

• Set up, operate, and monitor commercial-grade bindery and folding equipment.
• Review work orders and job tickets to accurately configure fold plates, rollers, side guides, and slitting blades.
• Load paper and other materials into feeders and monitor production runs to maintain consistent quality and productivity.
• Make real‑time mechanical adjustments to ensure precise alignment, folding accuracy, and proper machine operation.
• Inspect finished signatures, brochures, cartons, and other products for defects, including smudges, tears, incorrect dimensions, and alignment issues.
• Perform routine machine cleaning, oiling, and preventive maintenance.
• Clear equipment jams and troubleshoot minor mechanical problems.
• Complete production logs and accurately track material usage and production status.
• Communicate workflow updates, production issues, and equipment concerns to supervisors.
• Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.

• 2–3 years of experience in bindery, printing, folding, or a related manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and make machine adjustments.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, measurements, work orders, and job specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
