Registered Nurse Behavioral Health; Contingent Shift-Maple Grove

Responsibilities

Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to the health care team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.

Varies depending on department needs. Covers vacations, call‑offs, weekends and peak times as needed. Must be available for full‑time orientation Monday‑Friday first week.

• Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing.
• Previous 1‑2 years of recent related clinical nursing experience and a demonstrated level of performance and practice required.
• Minimum of 1‑year recent med/surg experience.
• Substance use disorder experience preferred; mental health nursing experience may be acceptable.
• Venipuncture experience required.
• EKG experience required.
• IV start experience required.

• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
