Park Nicollet is looking to hire a Pre Op/Post Op/PACU RN to join our Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) teams. Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day.
Position SummaryBe part of our Same Day Surgery Center Team in Maple Grove with occasional travel to other Same Day Surgery Center(s) as needed. We are looking for team members to support our growing services, providing patient care in our Surgery Center(s). Our fast‑paced multi‑specialty Surgical Center offers opportunities to work on a team with a positive outlook.
ResponsibilitiesThe RN – Pre‑operative, Post‑operative, PACU, PPA position provides direct patient care in ambulatory settings. Patient care may be a direct activity of the RN or may be to coordinate and supervise patient care provided by assistive personnel. The RN utilises a systematic approach to nursing practice incorporating assessment, planning, nursing diagnosis, implementation and evaluation in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act, recognised professional standards and Park Nicollet Health Services policy.
WorkSchedule
- Casual Position.
- Variable shift lengths, variable/flexible start times, rotating assigned late shifts, weekends and on‑call rotation in the future.
- Float to other surgery centre locations as needed.
- Valid Minnesota Registered Nurse License.
- BLS provider status in accordance with American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines.
- ACLS and PALS Certifications required (or willing to obtain within 3 months).
- Demonstrates knowledge of age‑related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients.
- Pre/Post/PACU, Inpatient, ER, or ICU experience desired.
