Tire and Battery Service Advisor

What you’ll do

Be a Team Member – Collaborates with team members to fulfil sales and service requests, educating associates on tools, tasks, resources, and mentoring new technicians. Communicates and develops interpersonal skills for safe and efficient customer service.
Be an Expert – Demonstrates knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operation, TPMS, and product specifications. Utilises point‑of‑sale systems and phone or in‑person selling techniques.
Be a Techie – Leverages digital tools to plan for and drive sales, improve the service experience, and elevate associate engagement using handheld technology and systems for immediate business decisions related to services, safety alerts, new product information, product application, and training.
Be an Owner – Communicates equipment, tools, and supply needs; leads tracking and monitoring returns and special orders; operates cash registers; processes transactions; maintains accurate inventory and safety compliance; reports complaints, safety hazards, and work‑area problems; completes paperwork, logs, and other documentation; ensures merchandise is packaged, labelled, and stored per company policies; assists members with purchasing decisions; resolves issues.
Be a Talent Ambassador – Acts as a brand advocate by valuing the member experience in the service area, modelling high‑quality service and products, influencing and inspiring others to work in a respectful, supportive, team‑oriented style, and assisting in training. Claims compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethics; follows the open door policy and applies business processes. Completes work assignments by using policies, data, and resources, collaborating with managers, co‑workers, customers, and partners to identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations.

Acts with integrity, supports culture of belonging, motivates and influences, and strengthens the team by mentoring. Serves customers and members by delivering results, making data‑driven decisions, balancing short‑and long‑term priorities, and supporting continuous improvement and change.

The hourly wage range for this position is $20.00 to $27.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.

Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
