Swim Instructor

Position Summary

As an Aquatics Swim Instructor, you will work in a fast‑paced environment. You will help both adults and children improve their swimming, teach life skills to our youngest members, evaluate their swimming ability to establish the correct swim level, and help maintain the cleanliness and order of our Aquatics Facilities.

• Instructs swimming lessons and Aquatics events
• Responds to member questions, comments, and concerns
• Provides a safe, clean and organized pool area
• Promotes and sells all Aquatics programs and services

• Working towards a High School Diploma or GED
• CPR, First Aid and Lifeguard Certifications (within 60 days of hire)
• Complete and pass all Life Time courses when hired
• Ability to work in a stationary position and move about the club for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to communicate and exchange information with guests who have inquiries about Life Time products and services
• Ability to swim 25 yards/meters without stopping
• Ability to routinely raise to lift more than 20 lbs

• Swim lesson instruction or coaching experience
