A Paratransit Driver for My Ride is responsible for transporting clients from their pickup point to their destination in the northern suburb area. The routes are in Brooklyn Park, Brooklyn Center, Maple Grove and Plymouth. This position uses a small bus (No CDL is needed – Valid Class D license required) to successfully transport people, performing pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections, and keeping the vehicle within DOT regulations.

Now hiring:
Monday - Friday 10:15 AM – 7:30 PM at $21.00 /hour.

• Transport clients to and from destinations.
• Arrive at destinations on schedule.
• Fulfill administrative needs, like office pickups.
• Research and plan for traffic, construction, and weather delays.
• Use navigation applications to determine the best route.
• Always interact with clients professionally.
• Ensure that the vehicle is always fueled and ready for use.
• Arrange for vehicle repairs as needed.
• Keep mileage records and repair records up to date.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Must be 23 years old or older.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
• Satisfactory driving record (no suspension etc.).
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Comfortable with securing a passenger in a mobility device or assisting a passenger using an assistive walking device (training provided).
• Familiarity with the Twin Cities metro area.
